On
Tuesday 14th June, Class 17a hopped onto the school minibus to go on our first
class trip to Wallington Hall. When we arrived, we went to the cafe and sat to
have a snack and drink to give us energy before we visited the play areas. We
walked down to the Castle play area where we had lots of fun climbing up the
turrets and walking along the rope bridge. We even stopped to say hello to the
bear!
Next it
was lunchtime, we enjoyed a picnic on the grass, then we each bought an ice
cream from the shop and enjoyed it in the sunshine!
In the afternoon,
we walked through the Wallington Estate until we found the walled garden. We
looked at all of the different flowers and talked about the different colours.
We even found a tree that we thought a giant might live at the top of!
On the
way back home, we enjoyed a game of I spy on the bus. We had so much fun
and can’t wait to go on another trip out!
