School Lunches - Price Increase


As from September 2022 school lunches will increase to £2.30 per day, from April 2022 the school have paid the difference unfortunately this is no longer a viable option.  Please note this is a LA Increase as our provider and not from the school.

School meals are charge at daily £2.30 and weekly amount is £11.50 to be paid via My Child at School (MCAS).

We have been informed by the Local Authority that we are no longer able to allow lunch accounts to be in arrears, therefore all weekly payments are to be made via yours child’s School MCAS pay account.

Please note that we require one weeks’ notice if your child wishes to transfer from school lunch to packed lunch.

All infant age children across the country - Reception, Year One and Year Two, are eligible for free school meals.

Our school meals service is continually reviewing and improving the school meals offer to update menus reflecting trends and tastes. Our school meals provider has attained Food for Life awards for quality since 2014.

There is a strong link between ensuing children east nutritious food and academic attainment

Applying for Free School Meals

Applying for Free School Meals means that you can save £437 each year with free school meals.

If you are on certain benefits and your child is in school on a full-time basis (including those in sixth-form or children at nursery for a full day) you may be entitled to free school meals.

This will not only save you £437 every year, it also guarantees your child will get a nutritious meal at lunchtime to keep them going until home time.
